Location: Remote or Hybrid, USA or India; Our standard operating hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm EST.
Travel: This role will not be expected to regularly travel.

Overview
The purpose of the Research Analyst role is to maximize the product value the customer is receiving by delivering best-in-class research deliverables. This role is responsible for leveraging Knit’s AI and bridging the gap to produce high-quality, on-time customer deliverables (Questionnaires, Analysis Plans, and Toplines).
Business Impact | What you will own…
The research function is a primary contributor to Knit’s shared business objectives of customer retention and upsells, ultimately measured by Net Revenue Retention (NRR) in addition to supporting successful Pilot to Subscription Conversions for acquiring new business.
The levers the Insights Manager role owns to influence these key business objectives are:
- Successful on-time delivery of high-quality research deliverables, specifically Questionnaires, Analysis Plans, and Toplines - measured by meeting Knit’s Definitions, and Quality & Speed SLA’s.
Primary responsibilities of this role:
- Project Execution & Documentation
- Draft Questionnaires, Analysis Plans, and Toplines using Knit’s AI tools and the project-specific, customer-specific, and use-case-specific context gathered by the Research Manager or Director:
- Design comprehensive quantitative and qualitative surveys and provide basic programming instructions for implementation (Programming & Fieldwork) teams
- Review AI-generated Analysis Plans to address customer research objectives and set up the plan to successfully guide the topline and/or report output
- Review and produce toplines, checking for accurate takeaways and recommendations
- Implement client feedback on deliverables
- Research Asset Documentation:
- Accurately store research assets and maintain versioning (e.g., questionnaires, reports) for customer documentation + internal Product and AI feedback loops
- Accurately maintain project context in shared systems.
- Draft Questionnaires, Analysis Plans, and Toplines using Knit’s AI tools and the project-specific, customer-specific, and use-case-specific context gathered by the Research Manager or Director:
- Product Feedback & Innovation
- Proactively document and share feedback and suggest research deliverable and AI improvements to Senior Insights Managers and Insights Directors and Product Teams
- Participate in continuous innovation on Knit’s AI product to minimize the delta between Knit’s AI output and a human researcher output
Required Skills & Experiences
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of market research experience, with the majority of the time spent on the supplier side in an agency environment.
- Must have experience writing and editing quant and qual questionnaires from scratch, drafting analysis plans, and creating stakeholder-ready insights topline & reports.
- Ability to drive initiatives and outcomes successfully in environments with competing priorities, multiple research projects on at a given time, and simultaneous internal business demands.
- Must display a high level of adaptability and critical thinking to meet the fast-paced, changing demands of both Knit’s internal product and teams but also customer requirements
