Location: India [Remote]

Knit has a hybrid working policy, with team members in the US and India. In the US, we have pods in NYC, Austin, Chicago, and D.C. In India, we have a pod in Delhi. This role is expected to be online 9am-5pm CST, Monday - Friday.

Travel: This role will not be expected to travel. Note, Knit US does a US All Team Summit in-person once per year.

Overview

The primary responsibility of the Fieldwork Specialist is to ensure Knit’s customers’ sampling plans are fulfilled. The purpose of this role is to ensure the customers’ surveys are fielded successfully across various panel providers - always ensuring high quality data. 

Responsibilities | What you will own… 

Key performance indicators for this team & role:

  • Data Quality: 
    • Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) score for data quality
    • Integrity of the sample, ultimately aiming for 0% bad quality responses flagged internally or from customers after fielding is complete
  • Data Collection Efficiency: 
    • Time from fielding launch to fielding complete 
    • Ability to fulfill sampling plans and quotas successfully 

Primary responsibilities of this role:

  • Fielding surveys via online sample providers, panel marketplaces, and vendors, and driving quality assurance checks for all of Knit’s customer projects, with the ultimate goal of hitting 100% of customer sampling plans
  • Maintaining and predicting consistent fielding times 
  • Continuously maintaining and improving data quality for quantitative, open-end text, and voice of consumer video data by collaborating with and monitoring our QA team
  • Continuously improving data collection efficiency and speed (balancing time and cost for fielding)
  • Collaborating with the product, tech, and customer success teams to ensure feedback loops are established to improve data collection process
  • Collaborating with product and tech team to work towards automating full data collection process 
  • Diligently documenting and tracking fielding metrics (CPIs, survey health metrics, reconciliations, qualification rates) within spreadsheets 
  • Supporting & executing on feasibility testing to ensure sampling plans can be fulfilled
 

Required Skills & Experiences

  • Must have exceptional, fluent written and verbal English communication skills, with experience working with US-based clients
  • Must have expert proficiency (5+ years) of successfully fielding online quantitative and qualitative surveys (Bonus: Experience fielding video surveys)
  • Must have experience fielding B2C projects using least 2 of the following, or similar DIY platforms or vendors:
    • Cint/Lucid, Emporia, Prodege, Respondent IO, Logit, Sago, Panelbase, Dynata, Paradigm, Newton X etc.
    • (Bonus: Experience fielding for niche audiences and use cases, e.g. B2B, children, recontact, shop along, diary studies)
  • Must have at least 5+ years experience in Market Research (ideally having previous experience with large market research companies such as IPSOS, Kantar, Nielsen, Gartner, etc.)
  • Must have a proven track record of successful survey fielding with a focus on complex and high-stakes research projects
  • Must have extreme attention to detail with competencies in using spreadsheets for tracking CPI, reconciliations, and other fielding metrics
  • Must have experience collaborating with, or participating in, data quality assurance processes (disqualifying and qualifying responses)
